Pastoral and Spiritual Leadership

Father Roldan Nunez, bring years of intensive ministerial experience, offering a highly stable and mature spiritual foundation for the parish St. Columba Catholic Church. His primary objective is establishing the church as a “Sanctuary of Hope.” This specific vision emphasizes a renewal of deep prayer, sacramental devotion, and active local charity. Rather than implementing immediate, disruptive changes, his leadership approach prioritizes an essential listening and hearing phase. This respectful method honors the existing spiritual traditions of the community while gently guiding parishioners toward a shared evangelical mission.

May God bless you and your loved ones, and may Saint Columba intercede for our parish family.

In Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Roldan Nuñez

Pastor

Sexual Abuse Compensation Program

The Independent Victim Compensation Program (ICP), a program sponsored by the Diocese of San Diego to assist victim-survivors who were abused as minors by priests of this diocese, is now accepting applications. The ICP is independent and not controlled by the Church. There is no time limit on when the abuse may have taken place. The program will consider all claims, regardless of how long ago the abuse occurred.  No attorney is necessary and there are no fees of any kind. U.S. Residency is also not required.
